ICCT study finds state EV incentives playing a significant role in driving sales

Total benefit and electric vehicle sales share for the ten states with the highest sales share of BEVs and PHEVs. California offers an assortment of different benefit types, ranking #3 in the total incentive benefit offered to consumers for BEVs and #4 for PHEVs, and it has the highest electric vehicle sales and sales share overall.

When (and How) Should You Use a DC EV Charger?

In North America, you’ll be able to fast-charge with a CCS plug, which now allows you to connect to Tesla Superchargers even if you’re not driving a Tesla. For example, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) cannot connect to DC stations. Some models (typically from Japan or South Korea) might use a CHAeMo plug.
