The front wheels are turned by the optional Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) delivering an EPA mpg rating of 36 city/43 highway/39 combined. mpg, which is a nice bump over the EPA Combined estimate of 39 mpg. It’s small, but it has a place. Your numbers may differ.

It is reminiscent of the early 1900’s, when steam, electric, diesel, biomass, and gasoline power options competed on a level playing field for consumers’ attention.
