The MiEV runs on a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged in seven or so hours on a 240-volt line. The Think Global would definitly be classified as a mini-car, several size classes smaller than a compact car like the Honda Civic or Ford Focus. The bottleneck is infrastructure.
