Generally, auto manufacturers frown on using extension cords to power their EVs, and for older buildings, it is not an entirely safe strategy. One EV charger maker, Atom Power located in Charlotte, N.C., might be able to cleave that knot fueled by a $100 million investment from Korea’s giant tech and energy company SK Inc.
