Buoyed by the US government’s CARS (“Cash for Clunkers”) program, US auto sales slowed their decline in the US in July, dropping on 12.1% However, GM total crossover sales of 39,937 were up 6%, driven by the performance of Chevrolet Traverse which contributed more than 6,600 sales.
