Alternatively, may we suggest the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck? Other than sports car wanna-bes, modern cars are so quiet that you hear tire/wind noise much more than engines. Motor Trend Magazine has extensive coverage of all cars online including road tests, free videos, buying guides, etc.
