Lotus and Harmon partner up to add sound to hybrids

Basically, the external ESS is a system that produces artificial vehicle noise. This is supposed to help pedestrians recognize the sound of an oncoming vehicle, even if its not making any noise. Alternatively, may we suggest the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck? We always seem to hear that one coming from a mile away.
