And thanks to the efforts of Plug In America, you can still claim a tax credit for your investment in home charging. It’s also grid-friendly. Automakers continue to only offer sub-100 mile range vehicles.

Were told that the agreement includes nods of acceptance from the likes of Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Fiat, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Eon, Vattenfall, EDF, Npower, Endesa and Enel, and while theres no time frame for when itll be introduced, were pretty stoked to hear that at least something has been decided upon. The demands on the grid would require a lot of infrastructure work without some sort of "energy reservoir" in place.
