WHAT IS A BEV (BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE)? Fully electric vehicles run on rechargeable batteries, which power an electric motor. They have no gas, exhaust, clutch, gears, or spark plugs. BEVs run entirely on a battery-powered electric drivetrain. BEVs are low-maintenance vehicles.
