A month or so ago word was Toyota was postponing the new generation Lithium Prius. That seemed to be a hint that Toyota wasn't moving too quickly on plug-ins. Now, however, we continue to see more information on Toyota's own prototype plug-in Lithium Prius. After all, grid electricity is cleaner and cheaper than gasoline.

Just as we have become accustomed to plugging in our cell phones everyday, the habit of plugging in your car after returning home could easily become second nature. The only time involved is the few seconds it takes to plug in and later, unplug, your car and possibly press a button.
