Retail sales were down 9% while fleet sales declined 47%. GMC sales increased 8%, led by Sierra, Canyon and Yukon XL. The first new 2010 Ford Taurus sedans were delivered at the end of July, as well as the first Transit Connects. Hybrids had an especially good month, with reported sales jumping 31.8% Monthly sales of hybrids.
