Non-core brand sales declined when compared with June as Pontiac dipped 7%; Saturn was down 21%, and HUMMER and Saab declined 26%. The first new 2010 Ford Taurus sedans were delivered at the end of July, as well as the first Transit Connects. On 27 July, Chrysler restarted production at 9 of its 11 manufacturing facilities.
