The entire auto industry has given up on investing in Hydrogen cars. What a waste. In a car, I would rather sit on top of safe LFP batteries than sit over explosive Hydrogen canisters. Maybe H2 will be okay in large vehicles like trucks. Hydrogen cars will not be part of our future - at least in passenger cars.
