BluePower energy comes exclusively from hydro-electric generating plants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A carbon offset program will be introduced covering the e-Golf from manufacturing and shipping through warranty period use. Volkswagen is also looking to implement a residential solar power incentive program.
