All comparisons are by volume. Hybrids had an especially good month, with reported sales jumping 31.8% Monthly sales of hybrids. TMS posted July sales of 24,295 hybrid vehicles, up 19.3% Light truck sales were led by the RAV4 compact SUV with best-ever July sales of 15,912 units, up 32.5% to 443, 297 units.
