Consumer Reports: Tesla and other domestic brands take big steps backwards in reliability rankings

Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, and Tesla are among the brands that tumbled in Consumer Reports’ (CR) latest Annual Auto Reliability Survey, which collected data from its members about their experiences with more than half a million vehicles. Owners reported suspension problems and other issues that included the extending door handle.

The plant actions detailed in today’s announcement represent the next steps in a US manufacturing realignment that FCA began in 2016. The proposed projects would create nearly 6,500 new jobs. Today’s announcement represents the next step in that strategy. FCA would invest $1.6 FCA expects to create 1,100 new jobs at Jefferson North.
