Total Sales of Toyota and Lexus Hybrids Top 1M Mark in US

Total combined Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicle sales in the US have topped the one million mark, according to Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA. The second-generation Prius launched in the fall of 2003 as a 2004 model year. Two months later Toyota launched the Highlander Hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV).
