He has been driving electric for more than 10 years and has been active in the Golden Gate chapter since shortly after the chapter was formed in 2004. Studying "smart grids" with emphasis on co-joining BEVs with houses and commercial buildings. He has also been the Secretary for the West Virginia EAA since 2017.
