Toyota launches new RAV4 PHEV in Japan

Toyota has launched the new model RAV4 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) ( earlier post ) through dealerships in Japan. With the E-Four electric 4WD system, the power produced by the newly developed plug-in hybrid system is fully distributed between all four wheels. Porsche opens first Charging Lounge

As a pilot site, the first Porsche Charging Lounge has opened outside Bingen am Rhein. Further Porsche Charging Lounges are currently planned for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

WiTricity opens Japanese subsidiary, joins Japanese EV Wireless Power Transfer Council – Charged EVs

Toyota to conduct plug-in vehicle charger infrastructure verification tests in Japan
