Bentley ending production of iconic W12 engine with the most powerful version ever

Bentley will cease production of its 12-cylinder gasoline engine in April 2024, by which time more than 100,000 examples of the iconic W12 will have been handcrafted in the company’s Dream Factory in Crewe, England. Development work has concluded recently on the most powerful version of the W12 ever created.

Raven SR waste-to-hydrogen plant in California to be powered by INNIO Jenbacher’s Ready-for-H2 engines

Raven SR plans to use INNIO’s Jenbacher engines [60 Hz] with a “Ready for H2” option to produce renewable energy. The energy system will power and heat Raven SR’s S-Series hydrogen production facility at a sanitary landfill in Richmond, California. The hydrogen product will be resold to power fuel cells in heavy-duty trucks.

HyMethShip seeks to fuel ship engines with hydrogen from methanol

The EU-funded HyMethShip project developed a system that innovatively combined a membrane reactor, a CO 2 capture system, a storage system for CO 2 and methanol as well as a hydrogen-fueled combustion engine to power ships. Wärtsilä gas engines to burn 100% hydrogen
