Hyzon acquiring ORTEN in Germany

Hyzon Motors, a US-based global supplier of hydrogen fuel cell trucks and buses, will acquire ORTEN Betriebs GmbH and subsidiaries, and ORTEN Electric Trucks GmbH, German manufacturers of innovative truck and trailer bodies for the beverage industry. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter, 2022.

Study finds Tula dDSF software reduced NOx 41% and CO2 9.5% in Leibherr D966 diesel

At the International Engine Congress in Baden-Baden (Germany), Liebherr-Components AG and US-based Tula Technology presented the results of their joint study on heavy machinery. Based on simulations, Tula’s diesel Dynamic Skip Fire (dDSF) software ( earlier post ) allowed the reduction of NO x tailpipe emissions by 41% and CO 2 by 9.5%.
