Daimler Trucks’ FUSO introduces eCanter SensorCollect concept refuse truck

Daimler Trucks’ Japan-based subsidiary FUSO recently introduced the eCanter SensorCollect concept truck with a demonstration run at its Kawasaki headquarters. The FUSO eCanter SensorCollect is a concept garbage collection truck based on the all-electric eCanter. Through these events, more than 100 ideas to date have been generated.

Researchers demonstrate dielectric coupling between steel belt in tire and metal plate in roadway for EV power

Researchers at Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan) have demonstrated the transfer of electric power from wheels to power an electric car using dielectric coupling between a steel belt in a tire and a metal plate in a roadway. Audi aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 30% over the vehicle lifecycle by 2025

This will be followed by the series-produced versions of the sports car Audi e-tron GT concept, to be produced by Audi Sport GmbH, and the compact SUV Audi Q4 e-tron concept, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Before the end of this year, Audi will also present the Audi e-tron Sportback, another derivative of the series.
