California PUC requires SCE to procure at least 50 MW of new electrical capacity in LA Basin from energy storage systems

In a recent vote, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) authorized Southern California Edison (SCE) to procure between 1,400 and 1,800 megawatts (MW) of electrical capacity in the Los Angeles basin. California ARB awarding $1.6 million to LA for low-income EV carsharing pilot program

The funding for the project comes from fees collected under the state’s climate change law, AB 32.
