$6,250 Squad solar EV coming to US—wherever 25 mph is enough

Porsche increases stake in electric sports car company Rimac to 15.5%

Porsche has increased its stake in technology and sports car company Rimac Automobili to 15.5%. In June 2018, the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer purchased a 10% stake in Rimac. The Croatian company develops and produces electromobility components and also produces electrically powered super sports cars in-house.

EV-maker Eli launches its $11,900 electric micro ‘car’ in the US

That permits owners to operate it like a traditional vehicle, but only on roads posted up to 35 mph (56 km/h). kW on-board charger can recharge the vehicle in under three hours on 240VAC, or under 5 hours on 120VAC. The top speed is limited to 25 mph (40 km/h) to comply with federal regulations for the vehicle class.
