Cummins will provide hydrogen fuel cell electric powertrains integrated into selected OEM partners’ heavy-duty trucks for Air Products, as Air Products begins the process of converting its global fleet of distribution vehicles to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Cummins and Air Products expect the demonstration phase to begin in 2022.

will open a new facility in Herten, Germany, which will initially focus on the assembly of fuel cell systems for global transportation leader Alstom’s hydrogen trains. The new facility will include space for both manufacturing and research and development, with plans to expand in the future to support fuel cell stack refurbishment.
