Audi awards $100K to Caltech to support development of new CliMA climate model

Audi of America (AoA) and the Audi Environmental Foundation are awarding a $100,000 grant to the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the lead institution in the Climate Modeling Alliance (CliMA). Audi is committed to reducing CO 2 emissions, first by 30% by 2025, along a path to carbon neutrality by 2050.

Audi introduces longer range and AWD quattro versions of Q4 e-tron compact electric SUV

Audi is now adding two new versions to the range—the Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron, the model with the longest range in the series; and an all-wheel-drive version, the Q4 45 e-tron quattro.

Alcoa to supply sustainable, low-carbon aluminum for wheels on Audi e-tron GT

As part of a pilot project, Audi is procuring 20-inch wheels for the Audi e-tron GT electric car that are made from low-CO 2 emission aluminum supplied by Alcoa to RONAL GROUP, the wheel’s manufacturer. The Audi e-tron GT is the first Audi electric car to be built in the Böllinger Höfe at the Neckarsulm site in Germany.
