Rio Tinto and bp to work together on one-year trial of B30 marine biofuel

The trial is using a bp-manufactured B30 biofuel blend composed of 30% fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) blended with very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO). This B30 biofuel blend can reduce lifecycle carbon dioxide emissions by up to 26% compared to standard marine fuel oil. All biofuel refueling during the trial will be at Rotterdam.

California Energy Commission awards more than $2.6M for natural gas vehicles

Honda opens CNG fueling station on Marysville campus; 1st public CNG fueling station located on Honda property in North America

The CNG station is located at the interchange of Route 33 and Route 739 near Honda’s manufacturing and R&D operations and is part of a strategy that has seen Honda reduce the CO 2 emissions intensity of its parts shipments by more than 35 percent since 2009.
