The zero-emission Urbino 18 electric buses will replace the older Solaris Urbino model that is used in the city traffic in Oslo. The partnership between Solaris and Unibuss AS dates back to 2006. They will be recharged using a plug-in charger.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waived a limitation on selling gasoline that contains more than 10% ethanol for model year (MY) 2001 through 2006 passenger vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and light pickup trucks.
