Neste’s renewable diesel (also known as HVO100) is made from 100% renewable raw materials, and it is in particular used for powering large and heavy vehicles such as the airport’s fire trucks, which are not easy to electrify.

Latest GHG Inventory shows California remains below 2020 emissions target; much steeper rate of GHG reductions required

EPA proposes reduction in cellulosic biofuel and total renewable fuel standards for 2014

Specifically, EPA is proposing a total renewable fuel target of 15.21 billion gallons; the final 2013 overall volumes and standards require 16.55 Total renewable fuels.

BMW Group to procure low-carbon steel from Salzgitter AG for European plants; second low-carbon steel deal

In October 2001, the group announced an agreement with Swedish startup H2 Green Steel. The steel will be used in standard production of cars at the BMW Group’s European plants from 2026 onwards, eventually reducing CO 2 emissions by up to 400,000 tons per year.
