Airbus APWorks unveils 3D-printed electric motorcycle; 35kg total, 6kg bionic structure frame

APWorks, a 100% subsidiary of Airbus Group, has unveiled the first 3D-printed motorcycle. Dubbed the Light Rider, the motorcycle is made using APWorks’ Scalmalloy material, and weighs only 35 kg (77 lbs). The result is a motorcycle that looks more like an organic exoskeleton than a machine.

Gogoro battery-swapping electric scooters continue international expansion

Along with rolling out battery-swapping stations, Gogoro is bringing its new Crossover GX250 electric scooter to the country. CCSE to continue for 4th year as admin of California clean vehicle rebate program; $59.55M for current fiscal year

The program incentives are available for electric, plug-in hybrid electric, fuel cell vehicles and electric motorcycles, ranging from $900 to $2,500. Since the CVRP launched in 2010, it has awarded more than $60 million for 33,000 vehicle rebates. CCSE processes about 2,500 rebates per month.

London gets Ford all-electric ambulances to go with its Mustang Mach-E’s

London’s ambulance service already has 42 Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles in its emergency fleet, but now it’s adding 12 bright, shiny all-electric ambulances designed by Ford for emissions-free first response – and the first full-service electric ambulances in the city.
