Sales of Ford Fusion Hybrid, Fusion Energi jump in LA in June; up 35% and 40% y-o-y respectively

Ford Fusion electrified vehicle retail sales spiked in the Los Angeles market during the month of June, the first month of availability for the new 2017 model. Based on Ford June sales figures, Fusion Energi (the plug-in hybrid variant) sales jumped nearly 40% in LA compared to June 2015.

NVIDIA’s automotive pipeline now exceeds $8B for DRIVE AI-based mobility solutions

DiDi, China’s leading mobility-as-a-service provider, has also announced it is adopting NVIDIA DRIVE for its entire autonomous driving test fleet. Orders are starting now for the sedan, with the SUV following in 2022. These robotaxi companies join others already developing on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform, including Pony.ai and Auto X.
