Microsoft climate fund invests $50M in LanzaJet alcohol-to-jet SAF plant

LanzaJet, a sustainable fuels technology company and renewable fuels producer, has secured financing for its Freedom Pines Fuels plant in Soperton, Georgia ( earlier post ), through the Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund. The remaining fraction is SPD with superior properties to conventional diesel.

BASF introduces blockchain pilot project to improve circular economy and traceability of recycled plastics

SGH2 building largest green hydrogen production facility in California; gasification of waste into H2

The plant will feature SGH2’s technology, which will gasify recycled mixed paper waste to produce green hydrogen that reduces carbon emissions by two to three times more than green hydrogen produced using electrolysis and renewable energy, and is five to seven times cheaper. The facility will process 42,000 tons of recycled waste annually.
