Port of Rotterdam exploring use of bio LNG in the transport sector

LNG is considerably cleaner than other fossil fuels, and engines that run on LNG also generate less noise. Compared to diesel fuel and fuel oil, LNG is a far cleaner option, with a significantly smaller footprint: up to 15% lower CO₂ emissions, 85% less NO x , zero sulfur and particulates and far quieter engines.
