Study finds association between air pollution, coronary atherosclerosis in Chinese population

Researchers from the University at Buffalo (UB), with colleagues in the US and China, have provided pathophysiologic evidence of the effect of air pollution on cardiovascular disease in China. The study was conducted on 8,867 Chinese adults aged 25 to 92. for every 20 micrograms per cubic meter of air increase in nitrogen dioxide.
