CRU: EVs will transform aluminum demand

By 2030, aluminum demand from Electric Vehicles (EVs) will near 10 million tonnes, a ten-fold increase from 2017, according to analysis by mining and metals business intelligence firm CRU. From a share of 4% in 2017, CRU expects electric vehicles to account for approximately 30% of the global vehicle fleet by 2030.

Parker Project demonstrates cross-brand V2G in Denmark; more tests of grid services slated

The Parker Project has used a fleet of four vehicles from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, PSA Groupe and Nissan to demonstrate that vehicles from different car brands can contribute to supporting the electricity grid with vehicle to grid (V2G) services. Parker’s test plan contains 11 services which will be tested during the winter of 2017.

EVgo breaks ground on first public 350 kW charger in US

EVgo utilizes a variety of flexible payment solutions including pay-as-you-go, low-cost membership plans and unlimited charging for customers of partner automakers, including BMW, Nissan and Ford.
