Neste Oil launching new low-sulfur marine fuel in December

Neste Oil will bring to the market a low-sulfur marine fuel in accordance with the EU sulfur Directive requirements entering into force in 2015, and will begin distributing it in mid-December. Neste Oil produces high-quality low-sulfur marine fuel at its Porvoo and Naantali refineries and the product will be available at Finnish ports.

Neste Oil complete first phase of its microbial oil pilot plant; feedstock for NExBTL renewable diesel

Neste Oil plans to use yeast and fungi to convert waste into oil for NExBTL feedstock. Neste Oil has completed the first phase of its project to build a pilot plant for producing microbial oil for use as a feedstock for NExBTL renewable diesel. Commercial-scale production is expected by 2015 at the earliest.

CMA CGM partners with Energy Observer on hydrogen-powered shipping
