US-based GreenTech Automotive unveils low-speed electric two-seater MyCar

GreenTech Automotive (GTA) unveiled its MyCar, a two-seat Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) with a range of up to 115 miles (185 km). In the US, MyCar has a top-speed of 25 mph (40 km/h) due to regulatory restrictions, classifying it as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV). MyCar will have an expected base price of $15,500.

Nissan leads with transfer of California ZEV credits out for year ending 30 Sep 2014

Between 1 October 2013 and 30 September 2014, Nissan transferred out 663.6 This latest credit balance report reflects ZEV regulation compliance through model year 2013, representing a total of 3.5 NEV = Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. IVMs in 2013 were BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Subaru and Volkswagen.
