Evonik introduces Bio-MTBE fuel component

Evonik produces Bio-MTBE from isobutene and biomethanol in Marl (Germany) along with conventional MTBE; initial production of bio-MTBE began in March 2012. Air pollutant emission 2010 limits exceeded in twelve EU Member States; road transport NOx a main factor
