Audi Hungaria starts operation of Europe’s biggest solar roof installation

In 2012 Audi’s Hungarian plant opened a geothermal facility to supply most of its heat requirements. The remainder is compensated by bio-gas certificates. Since 2012 Audi Hungaria has used this source for most of its requirement for heat at the site. Audi Hungaria, in cooperation with E.ON r has used only green power.

EIA: US energy-related CO2 dropped 2.7% in 2015; of end-use sectors, only transportation increased
