All new vehicle sales in Oregon to be ZEVs by MY 2035

The Oregon Environmental Quality Commission adopted rules this week (3-1) to require all new passenger cars, trucks and SUVs sold in Oregon to be zero emissions (ZEVs) by 2035. New gasoline vehicles will still be allowed for sale through 2034. Known as Advanced Clean Cars II , the set of rules builds on regulations in place since 2005.

2020 Ford Escape to offer hybrid and PHEV variants

Ford has revealed the 2020 Escape; the small SUV will make its first public appearance at the New York International Auto Show. Gasoline engine-powered models as well as the standard hybrid are available with all-wheel drive. The standard hybrid with front-wheel drive targets best-in-class EPA-estimated range of more than 550 miles.
