EIA: US production of uranium concentrate in 1Q 2023 down 75% y-o-y

According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), US production of uranium concentrate (U 3 O 8 ) in the first quarter of 2023 totaled 2,511 pounds. This is 75% lower than first quarter 2022 production and a drop of 99% from fourth quarter 2022 as no material was produced this quarter at the White Mesa Mill in Utah.
