New Chevrolet Aveo to be built in Russia

An agreement has been signed between General Motors and Russian automotive manufacturer GAZ Group, to assemble the new Chevrolet Aveo at GAZ’s facility in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia. The vehicle will be produced from mid-2012 with about 30,000 expected to be assembled annually. They will be sold to the Russian market.
