Honda is introducing new lease programs for both existing and prospective Fit EV customers in the US. The reduced lease price and matching two-year terms will also be available to new customers interested in driving a used Honda Fit EV. Lessees will be contacted by Honda prior to lease end for additional details about lease extensions.

In the US, Honda has cut the lease price for the Fit EV in the US to $259 a month beginning 1 June, down from $389 a month. The new three-year lease includes no down payment, unlimited mileage, routine maintenance, collision coverage and 240 volt EV home charging station equipment (not including installation) from Leviton.

The technology uses less electricity than other hydrogen fueling stations and requires less maintenance. The station also will be able to fuel hydrogen fuel cell cars made by major auto manufacturers, including Hyundai, Daimler, Toyota, GM, and Honda. Both units are high-performance, fast-fill dispensing systems.
