The New York market also benefits from sales of small EV fleets, including the NY Department of Sanitation. Honolulu, with 26 quick chargers, has one of densest charging grids in the US.

The report finds that as of December 2021, 1,215 ZETs have been deployed in the United States across more than 163 fleets. By comparison, Europe has deployed more than 2,300 MHD ZETs as of 2021, and China deployed more than 20,000 MHD ZETs as of 2021. The report shows that the highest number of deployed ZETs in 2021 were also MD trucks.
