The yellow and brown wire need to come out of the flexwrap so that we can connect them to circuits in the front luggage compartment. Based on a suggestion from another 914 AC customer, I purchased some long 8mm bolts to lower the transmission end about 8 inches and still keep it stable. Tomorrow (hopefully): connecting the motor to the controller and possibly starting on connecting the batteries with high-current cable. While this was a real pain.

In the process, I got some two-conductor wire to make the connections to the potbox switch and backup-light switch cleaner. I plan to purchase several grounding straps to tie the batteries together while they sit on the floor and use welding cable to attach them to the motor controller until the battery boxes arrive from ElectroAuto.
