The Chevrolet Malibu is dead. This despite the fact that the sedan was the third-best selling Chevrolet, behind only the Equinox and Silverado. On the other hand, Q1 sales for the car were down 13 percent year-over-year. Chevrolet could've rectified this by making a better Malibu. Or, at least, it will be come November.

California passes 1M mark for cumulative sales of electric vehicles: BEVs, PHEVs and FCEVs

It was the Chevrolet Sprint ER , and I've found a nicely intact example in a car graveyard just east of Sacramento. It appears that this engine was not legal for sale in high-altitude areas.
