People might be bored reading about the Prius but a review on four Priuses (2004, 2005, two 2006s) that my family owns that ran a total of 913k km (570k miles) should be interesting, right? We need to go back to November 2017, to the start of the ‘Prius Revolution’ in the family. It was time to buy our first car.

While it is common for OEMs to NOT report sales of its models by powertrain — including PHEVs and in some cases BEVs like the Kia Niro and Hyundai Kona — both Toyota (RAV4 Prime and Prius Prime) and Mitsubishi (Outlander PHEV) do publish sales of their PHEVs. credit off the the cap cost makes it a real cheap lease on 53k Jeep.

In May 2008, Toyota saw its Prius hybrid car turn it towards profitability in America and it scrapped plans to build a sport utility truck plant in Tupelo, Mississippi and chose to build a Prius plant there instead. Yet when gas prices tumbled later that year, plans for the Prius plant were shelved.
