The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 45% of American Adults think it is at least somewhat likely they will purchase a car that runs on something other than gasoline in the next 10 years. Sentiments have changed little from a year ago when 48% said they were likely buy this type of car and 45% said it was unlikely.

A new Rasmussen poll found that 48% of Americans are likely to purchase a car that runs on something other than gasoline within the next ten years; 45% say they are not likely to purchase an alternative fuel car. Within those findings, 22% say will very likely purchase an alternative fuel car, with 13% not at all likely.

These projects put more than 9,000 alternative fuel and energy-efficient light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles on the road, and establish 542 refueling locations across the country. The project will deploy 502 alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles through 119 public and private fleets throughout the state.
