The Nikkei reports that Toyota will invest about ¥20 billion yen ($165 million) to triple production capacity in Japan for its new Mirai fuel cell vehicle ( earlier post ) to meet what it describes as strong corporate and public-sector demand. The MPS is the only organization outside of Japan that Suzuki has approached to undertake such a trial. The trial is being run at no cost to the Met, with the loan of the vehicles from Suzuki Motor Corporation.
