Shandong Province Builds First Large Charging Station for Plug-ins; Targeting Annual Production Capacity of 300,000 EVs by 2015

Shandong Electric Power corporation is building a 23-million yuan (US$3.37 million) charging station in Linyi City that is capable of charging 45 cars at a time. Shandong is one of China’s biggest auto producing provinces and has been developing electric cars since 2004.
